Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director of Procedural and Surgical Services to provide 24-hour leadership and operational oversight for OR, Pre-Op, PACU, Cath Lab, and EP Lab. The Director will ensure high-quality patient care, strong team performance, regulatory compliance, and efficient department operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop perioperative and procedural services teams.
- Oversee daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and resource management.
- Partner with surgeons, anesthesia, physicians, and hospital leadership.
- Monitor quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage department budgets, productivity, and financial performance.
- Improve workflows, patient outcomes, and overall department efficiency.
- Support employee engagement, retention, professional development, and succession planning.
- Lead strategic initiatives and support the growth of Surgical and Procedural Services.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or eligibility for Arizona licensure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Progressive leadership experience in perioperative/surgical services.
- Experience managing clinical operations, staffing, quality, and budgets.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- CNOR or relevant specialty certification.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary surgical teams in an acute-care hospital.
Compensation: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
